Sunday morning and this suddenly got busy! Homosexual Kombi vans...

...homosexual pants...

...and a lot of cops (because some idiot was out menacing people with his camera ;)

More clear blue sky today (I couldn't believe it!), and I felt like I was being watched.

I went for a quick ride by myself this morning to see what was north of the town.

More of the same really: streams, rivers, lakes, stunning vistas - beautiful!

This one confused me a bit: an arrow pointing towards a no entry.

We decided to give the legs (and the bikes) a bit of a rest and did a 5km walking track through the hills. The shot on the left is looking back over Ambleside and Windermere Lake. I don't know what the shot on the right is looking over, but it's pretty :)

Hiking bores me to be honest, so before long I started throwing stones, throwing rocks, chasing sheep, hurling boulders, anything really to keep myself amused.

After a while we found a great little spot in the sun beside a stream to chill out for a bit.

Here are families and kids playing in it...

...Jen filling her drink bottle in it...

...and me pissing in it up-stream hahaha! Well no not really, but it would've been funny.

Monday - back home to reality. We had a bit of a wait for the ferry from Ambleside back to Windermere, so again I got bored and threw shit around...

...and took inappropriate photos.

The train back to Edinburgh wasn't until the evening, so we had a good look around Windermere and Oxenholme. This little guy was in somebody's garden hahaha!

A bit of racial segregation.

Hehehe.

Windermere train station boasts the shithouse of the year award for 2007. You need a key to get in so I went and asked for it to have a bit of nosey; just looked like an ordinary dunny to me but whatever.

What is it with the Brits and bloody mushy peas?! I ordered fish and chips for lunch and it came out with this shit splattered all over it! At first glance I thought someone had vomited on it.

So that was my Easter in the Lake District! :) If you get the chance I highly recommend you go and spend some time there; it really is a beautiful area and if you're into mountain biking or hiking etc. then even better! We were bloody lucky to get such good weather because it's pretty crap out there at the moment as I write this but oh well - I'll be in Florida this time next week so I don't care ;)

Hey those mushy peas have feelings. If your down south you never ever get fish and chips without mushy peas.
