Later on that day was the rehearsal. I haven't been in too many weddings (in fact I think I made it through my twenties without attending any thanks to constantly being in some random-ass part of the world). Anyway, this is the Catholic church where the action would be.

And thereafter came the rehearsal dinner (where I annoyed everybody with my camera again), followed by a drunken night out at that bar I mentioned earlier. Good stuff!

And then came the big day! While the girls ran about like headless chickens...

...the guys were more cool, calm and collected. Flicking the big V is Justin, the groom.

This awesome old barn was the reception venue for later, but we all headed there first for a photo shoot.

Nice!

Breaking with tradition, the bride and groom saw each other before the ceremony and got most of the photos out of the way. Note the weather by the way - there wasn't a cloud in the sky the entire day.

On the left are the two photographers. I did my best to stay out of their way but I did steal a few of their shots ;)

Our transport from the reception venue to the church - awesome!

I spent the duration of the ceremony up the back of the church filming the event for the bride's parents, as well as capturing a few of my own shots. Within 30 minutes the I do's were done, none of the wedding party sneezed or farted or fell over, and with that we headed back to the barn!

Mr and Mrs :)

The usual stuff then: we stuffed our faces...

Best man's speech...

Maids of honour speeches (which was the funniest shit ever - inspired by the movie Bridesmaids if you happen to have seen that)...

Haleigh's father...

Cake cutting...

Stuffing it in the face...

Nom nom nom!

First drink...

First dance, and so on.

This was the band for the night - quite a cool group of cats, and check it out - Morgan Freeman on the guitar hahaha!

The bouquet was caught by someone probably not due to be married for quite some time yet.

Some goes for the garter. Then again, this is Alabama ;)

And on the night went.

Kristina's college roommates (their street address was 1600 by the way :)

Photo bombing.

Drunken dancing.

I didn't realise my hair was looking quite that awesome.

Another stolen shot from the photographers ;)

The bride and groom made their escape through a haze of sparklers, while one of the photographers made a piss-poor attempt to get out of the way of my shot and that of her partner who was standing next to me.

We dropped those two at a fancy-ass hotel nearby while the rest us went back to the bar in Fairhope, got smashed, and raided the pizza shop.
